My Progress Counselling and Psychotherapy (“we”, “our”, “us”), operated by Jacqui Roberts (MBACP), respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal and clinical data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and Data Protection Act 2018.

2. Data We Collect

We collect information necessary to deliver safe, professional counselling services. This includes contact details (name, email, phone number), emergency contact details, GP practice information, and confidential clinical notes.

3. Confidentiality & Clinical Notes

In accordance with BACP ethical guidelines, all therapy sessions are strictly confidential. To protect your identity, clinical records are stored separately in an encrypted environment and indexed exclusively by anonymous alphanumeric client codes (e.g. C-014).

4. Your Rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to request access to your personal data, request correction of inaccurate data, or request erasure of non-clinical administrative records.
